HEARTWARMING STORIES

We love making memories with our friends and family. We think the Lodge Of Four Seasons is the perfect place for you to make memories with yours. This year, we have a campaign we call, “From Our Family to Yours” which is all about sharing Lodge stories. We’re enjoying sharing memories of our founding father, Harold Koplar, and the Brown family with you and couldn’t be more excited to hear your Lodge stories when you share them with us. Join us as we take a look at a few special memories made here at The Lodge.

“Love The Lodge of Four Seasons! We had our honeymoon there in August of 2015 during the renovation. We wanted a Lanai room and renovation had started so they put our room back together just for us. There were chocolate-covered strawberries and a lovely note from the manager when we arrived. [We have] amazing memories of the start of our marriage at The Lodge of Four Seasons!”

50 years ago, young and so in love, Pam and Rich Whitney honeymooned here at The Lodge of Four Seasons. For their 50th anniversary, the couple knew there was only one place worthy of this momentous occasion – again, The Lodge!

Rich and Pam’s memories of their first real vacation in a hotel bring them laughter and joy as they recall their young naiveté. Pam shared with us the story of their attempts to build a fire in the fireplace in their room without any idea how it was properly done and making their bed the next morning (no doubt a surprise to the housekeepers).

They also recall they both looked so young, the priest told them to be sure to take their marriage license to assure the staff here that they were married! The moment was even caught on camera. Thank you for sharing your story with us!

As told to us by Pam Whitney

Ali had her first kiss at The Lodge of Four Seasons. She planted a kiss on not one boy, but two! When and how did our little three-year-old grow up so fast? She needs Momma’s purse, makeup, and apparently, she must see Mommy kiss Daddy too much!
