Life is best enjoyed in four seasons.
Tradition
The Lodge was built in 1964 by Harold Koplar and has been owned by the Koplar-Brown family ever since. The owners remain proud residents of the Lake area, and their level of pride and commitment is obvious to every guest. This dedication to quality goes far beyond what one would typically encounter at resorts owned by a remote corporate entity.
Unrivaled Golf
No other venue in the state and few in the Midwest can boast 54 holes of golf. Travel & Leisure Golf Magazine calls The Lodge "One of the best golf resorts in the world." With lakeside courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Ken Kavanaugh, no other destination in Missouri can give you access to more scenic holes and at such a bargain. Guests who stay at The Lodge and play on our courses enjoy the best resort golf savings to be found anywhere.
Unmatched Luxury
Spa Shiki stands alone as the gold standard of resort spas. Recently profiled on NBC's Today Show and recognized as one of the best for its excellence and value by SELF Magazine, Spa Finder and more, Spa Shiki is a 15,000 square foot paradise for those who need pampering. There simply is nothing else like Spa Shiki at the Lake. With a complete line of services, treatments and products along with a spa director recently elected president of the American Spa Therapy Education and Certification Council, few spas in the country can compare to a Spa Shiki experience.
Exceptional Dining
HK's was reborn within the Lodge of Four Seasons in the spring of 2005. With floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking view of the Lake as well as our famous Japanese Gardens, the only thing that exceeds the beauty of the location is the quality of the menu. No other restaurant at the Lake has fresher ingredients or a better selection of steaks, seafood or pasta choices. In addition to HK's, Breezes restaurant is available for breakfast and lunch. Our dining advantage is clearly our quality and options.
